It is always nice when a product lives up to revolutionary new product "GAME CHANGER" status. With the BOA fit system, our K2 alpine ski boots can be adjusted differently left to right in a heartbeat. My feet are, as most, different left to right. While conventional boots with micro-adjustable buckles can be set differently in store, doing it on the ski hill is a far greater undertaking. With the BOA fit system, I was able to adjust each boot to the finest level of micro-adjustment wearing my ski gloves outside on the hill. This allowed both feet to be held securely and the tension varied through the day to provide maximum comfort. Once indoors for lunch break, one motion pops up the BOA system, and released the tension on my feet. The heat molding of the K2 Recon boots and Krylon liners added a huge measure of comfort and security when combined with the BOA system gave me comfortable boots from the first run and for the whole day!
